The Space
THE SPARK SPACE
We boast a 4600 sqft venue space that includes a large reception lobby inspired by modern art galleries, two dance studios with sprung floors, and a flexible open-air theater. Our space is available to rent for artists, community groups, educational pods and private events!

Hourly Rental
$20 – $80 per hour
Regular hourly rates: Studio A (600sqft) is $40hrly | Studio B (400sqft) is $30hrly | Theater (2000sqft) is $50rhly/rehearsal & $80hrly/performance.
Daily Rental
$190 – $450 per day
Regular daily rates: Theater (2000sqft) is $225 daily/rehearsal & $325 daily/performance | Full Venue (4600sqft) is $450 daily. We also offer half day rates and extended hours rates.

Monthly Rental
$800 – $2400 per month
We are looking for long term renters to occupy Studio B (a raw space) located off our Main Lobby. Studio B (400sqft) rents for $800-$1000 monthly. Theater (2000sqft) is available from 8am-4pm Monday-Friday for $2000-$2400 monthly.
Requirements
Our lowest rates are offered to our Incubator Members. Our Incubator Membership provides the resources artists & community groups need to host events as well as interact with potential collaborators.
Minimum rental period for non-incubator members is 1 hour for studios and 4 hours for the theater. Daily rentals include 8 hours of space rental. For theater and full venue rentals additional staff fees may apply. Liability insurance is required for monthly or longer rentals.

Cancellation Policy
Deposits and cancellation policies vary for our Incubator Members.
Studio Rentals can change or cancel bookings up to 24 hours before the schedule booking start. After this time the full amount of the rental is due.
Theater Rentals have free cancellation up until 4 weeks before your booking is scheduled to begin. Cancellations after 2 weeks up until 4 weeks before your booking will be charged 50% of the space rental fee. After the 2 week deadline has passed the full amount of the rental fee will be due.
If The Spark should need to close the space for any reason cancellation fees are waived and refunds will be issued. In the event of severe weather or other events of extreme extenuating circumstances or emergencies the renter may seek a refund past the cancellation deadline. Refunds are made at the discretion of The Spark. If a refund is authorized, it will be refunded via the original form of payment. No exceptions.

Availability Calendar
The Building
We are a performing arts center in Boulder that is dedicated to providing affordable resources and space to artists as well as high quality training to local youth and interested community members. Our space encourages collaboration, cultivating an arts incubator. Our educational programming connects youth to artists working in the area through classes, workshops, mentorships, and performance opportunities. Our goal is to unify the multiple generations of creators in our community to simultaneously strengthen the imagination of our youth and the resilience of our working artists. Our building has a proscenium theatre with a sprung floor, as well as two dance studios, two music studios, a conference room, shop / construction area, and a multipurpose room. We're located on Pearl Street, East of Foothills Parkway. We rent out our space to artists and arts organizations as well as for private events such as: corporate meetings, fundraisers, parties, weddings, etc.
