Cultural Organizations Summit: Preparing for Climate Impacts

Registration is closed for this event
Climate change is accelerating and intensifying. All ten of the hottest years on record have occurred since 2005. The 2013 flood and 2021 Marshall Fire are just two examples of catastrophic impacts playing out close to home. We are approaching a critical juncture in confronting the climate crisis, and Boulder's arts and culture community has an important role to play.

At our next summit of cultural nonprofit leadership, we will talk about the best ways for organizations to plan for and actively address climate impacts.

Our panel includes Kyra Holt, Director of the Sustainability Department at Planet Bluegrass, Catherine Greener, Founder of Greener Solutions, Inc, and Patrick Chandler, Education and Outreach at CIRES. Moderated by Lisa Schwartz, Community Outreach Program Manager at CU Boulder Office for Public and Community-Engaged Scholarship. In partnership with the Boulder County Arts Alliance. Free; light refreshments.
