Artists and scientists teams in the Art+Science+Action cohort will discuss how they developed six interactive projects using the Guidelines for Art and Science Partnerships in order to engage communities in exploring local environmental and social issues— from space junk to cultural and biological diversity.

The projects featured in this talk and the exhibition "Celebrating Community: Art+Science+Action Partnerships" at the Arbor Institute during November were created in partnership with local communities, the CU Boulder Office for Outreach and Engagement and Boulder County Arts Alliance.

Projects focus on honoring science and art as co-equal realms of thought and re-establish relationships with the places and communities in which we live. Find out more about the projects and the unique perspectives and activities they offer here.
