Writers Wanted for Progressive Media Company

ALOC Media, LLC, is a Boulder-based media group, looking for writers interested in submitting work on a number of topics ranging from interesting lifestyles, art, and progressive living, and even creative-writing pieces. Benefits include being showcased on our website, while building a continual relationship with our company, and being sent to on-site cultural events such as concerts, city hall meetings, theater productions, and interviews of interesting people around Colorado.

ALOC, which stands for A Life of Choice, is a young company starting its third year in operation. Our goal within the publication is to promote the arts, engage with those that are living consciously, and learn about those trying to improve society. Our company works through many outlets including, but not limited to, our online publication, photography, video, and graphic design services, and the sale of our own merchandise. Accomplishments include having our photography featured in Relix Magazine, having an Emmy-award winning writer contribute for us, and winning third place for Best New Business for Best of Boulder 2016. We are the main media sponsors for the Boulder Fringe Festival, and will be covering it and the Colorado Shakespeare Festival this summer. We have also covered events at numerous venues around Colorado, such as Cervantes, The Aggie and the Boulder Theater. We also had the pleasure to cover Arise Music Festival and the Great American Beer Festival in 2016.

Our pieces range from short recaps of events (under 350 words), paired with photos and media, to artist profiles, to longer and more in-depth articles on a topic the writer is passionate about.

If we feel that you would be a good fit we can either send you an article idea that we think would suit you, or you can approach us with an idea.
