This year 51 new lamp pole banners were created by the talents and imaginations of budding artists from Columbine Elementary School, Casey Middle School and Boulder High School. This year’s theme is "Local Foods and Seasonality." During Boulder Arts Week take a stroll down the Pearl Street Mall to enjoy these beautiful banners and then vote for your favorite. You can also check them out online via the link below. We know it'll be hard to choose but the winner will receive a $100 Downtown Boulder gift card.
Maps of the banner locations are available online and at the Visitor Information Center located at 1300 Pearl Street. Voting will be available online from March 31 - April 8, 2017 at BoulderDowntown.com/Banners.
This is the fifth year for the banner project, which is produced by the Downtown Boulder Partnership. The three participating schools, as well as the Boulder Valley School District, the Boulder County Farmers Markets, GrafX Group, and City of Boulder Community Vitality Department graciously agreed to help make this happen.
