Continuing Throwing + Hand Building (Session A) ages 9+ // 9 Week Session

We are thrilled to offer this class for Tinker’s continuing wheel throwers. If your student potter has previously taken Wheel Throwing 1 at Tinker, they can join us for Continuing Throwing. In this class we’ll be challenging children to hone in their personal pottery style and advance their skills through continued practice, mini-lesson demos, and independent projects of their choice. Session A class size is limited to 6 students. Session B & C class size is limited to 5 students. Please note that Continuing Wheel Throwing + Hand Building (Session A) also includes support for children who would like to hand build in addition to wheel throwing. 

Please Note: Session B will occur at the same time as a Drawing Class in the main studio, and Session C will occur at the same time as a Painting Class in the main studio. Continuing Throwing (Sessions B & C) will meet in the Pottery Studio, with the final class on May 10th. We will not hold an art show for Continuing Throwing (Sessions B & C), and all final pieces will be ready for pick up 2 weeks after the last class of the session. We will hold our regular art show for Continuing Throwing (Session A), which will be a 9-week class session, concluding on May 15th. Final pieces from Continuing Throwing (Session A) will be available for pick up 2 weeks after the last class.
