An introduction to Mythology with Colorado School of Myth & Movement Arts Director, Laura Melling, an internationally celebrated mythologist and expert in the dance of Isadora Duncan. Topics will include: Archetypal Psychology, Indigenous approaches to Myth, Embodiment of Myth, Myth as a path of Nature Connection, Dance as Ritual, Daydreaming & Active Imagination, and Metaphoric consciousness as a path of Initiation.
Material of lasting relevance to artists in all disciplines, as Myth is access point of the creative unconscious. Isadora was hailed in her time as the "muse of modernism'' and her vast perspective on the significance of arts holds keys of insight and grandeur for both lovers of art and active creators.
