This online class is for beginning and experienced students. Beginners will learn the basics while experienced drawing students and painters ""brush up" your technical skills. We will explore the art of still life drawing and composition. We will use pencil sketches and start by learning the technical details of drawing many objects common in still life drawings and paintings (vases,bottles,folded and draped fabrics etc..) Then we will work though small sketches of different composition options and techniques for still life art works. Bring #2 pencil and/ or set of graphite pencils and a 9" x12" spiral bound sketchbook (or some computer paper) to the first class. Perfect for those stay at home blues! Tuesdays 1:30-3:00pm.
