Boulder Symphony announces the opening section string positions (violin, viola, cello, bass) for the remainder of the 2017-18 Season (see schedule below). Please contact us to schedule an audition. Candidates are asked to prepare 10 standard orchestral excerpts and a movement of a concerto.
Rehearsals generally take place on Monday evenings, with dress rehearsals and occasional additional calls on Thursday evenings. Performances take place at the First Presbyterian Church (15th & Canyon) in downtown Boulder. Members of the orchestra also have access to additional, paid performances throughout the Boulder community.
