Festival Plaza
The Space
Festival Plaza is a gathering place in Old Town Lafayette on Public Road and Chester Streets.The Plaza is a series of four smaller interconnected plazas each designed with features to promote various events. It is home to festivals, summer storytime, summer concerts, and an outdoor cinema. Starting Memorial Day, the fountains will be on from 10am to 8pm daily until Labor Day. Note that the fountains may be turned off during scheduled events.
 
A Reservation Permit is required to hold an event at the Festival Plaza. Festival Plaza reservation requests are handled through the Community Development Department at City Hall or can be submitted online. Festival Plaza may be reserved only for events open to the public.
