The mural celebrates our neighborhood's geographic location as the center of Boulder, Colorado. The compass rose theme is the inception of the Goss Grove Neighborhood Association."In the design of the mural I wanted to communicate the feel of our neighborhood. So the mandala form,the water lily and the crystals I felt conveyed Boulder's special flavor. The insects, dragon flies and butterflies, areerflies, are welcome visitors to our neighborhood each summer." Jan Burch (artist). 2011.
