Hello Rockstar Artist,

Thank you for your interest in the Watson Institute Artist in Residence (AiR) program.

Before applying, please check out watson.is to learn more about the work we do.

---

The Artist in Residence program is an intentional pairing between a Watson Institute entrepreneur and an established artist who offers their time, advice, and expertise to the entrepreneur. The purpose of this program is two-fold:

1) To connect the entrepreneurs with relevant artists who have the skills, background, and expertise to create projects that will amplify the entrepreneur’s venture and impact in creative ways that the entrepreneur would not be able to achieve on their own; and
2) To connect artists to impact-focused entrepreneurs, so that they may leverage their practice and craft to support creative business models that may also lay the groundwork for longer-term partnerships.

---

As you're applying, think deeply about the exciting opportunity you will have to

1) collaborate with a young social entrepreneur focused on solving the world's toughest problems
2) join a global community of changemakers dedicated to impact, innovation, and excellence
3) receive a $1,000 - $3,000 stipend based on the scope of your final project

---

Please note, that this program will occur between April 11th - August 1st [16 weeks].
This program will require you to devote ~5-10 hours per week over the course of that time.

Here's what past participants have said about their time in the program: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BFxuRB09Ov8.
